Maverick McCain?

NOTE: POSITIONING OF THIS POST HAS BEEN IRRETRIEVABLY ALTERED, ACCESS THE REPOST OF THIS VIDEO HERE.

As evidence that the 'maverick' part of McCain is pure Hollywood fantasy, right up there with George Bush becoming a cowboy for 8 years with the purchase of his Crawford Ranch, enjoy the above clip from You Tube.

It stars McCain and Bush, with supporting 'mavericks,' Cheney and Palin. It is all set to the theme from the old TV western "Maverick," which ran from 1957-1962.

Thanks for highlighting my video. We are truly blessed to have such a party of mavericks to govern us. Just as George Bush and Dick Cheney came into town 8 years ago to sweep out all the partisan infighting, John McCain and Sarah Palin will get rid of pork and earmarks. My own blog is www.thatsrightnate.com. I am striving to make it one of the top conservative blogs on the web, but boy is there a lot of competition.

I will say I enjoyed your video quite a bit. I think it's hilarious.

Nice to see a conservative with a sense of humor.

I do have to say, I never, in a million years, would have guessed that a conservative had put this together.

Conservatives don't have a sense of humor? Did you see McCain's health care plan?

Hey, I thought you might be interested in my followup video--The Magnificent Seven about the seven brave lobbyists who are guiding McCain's efforts to clean up the culture of corruption in Washington. Unfortunately, the Western looking font I used doesn't work as well as I'd like with Youtube. Thanks again for highlighting Maverick McCain.

What the? The funny thing is that you seem to be serious. Now that is funny politics. We are not laughing with you,We are laughing at you.....

Uh, Nate may be a conservative, as he says, but certainly not one that supports John McCain. Just check out his other work (in his link above).

His comments appear to be very tongue-in-cheek.

This IS a parody, so laughter is highly appropriate.

I thought it was extremely well done.

I normally would not permit a link to a post on Pelosi to be uploaded, it is irrelevant to the topic.

However, in the spirit of bipartisanship, one good parody deserves another, I will not delete it at this time.

I admire, and have a lot of respect for Ms. Pelosi (most of the time, at any rate). But I did find the take amusing.

I just popped by my Youtube videos because there was a new comment and I saw that the old video had a ton of new links from this blog. I'm extremely appreciative. If you are interested in more of my political viewpoint you can definitely check it out at

Again--thank you. I put stuff up to entertain myself and if anybody else enjoys it, that's great. I am a huge McCain fan and in fact like him, I suspended my blog until he resolved the financial crisis that was threatening our country a few weeks ago.
