Like Mother Like Daughter?

John Aravosis posted some interesting information about Sarah Palin on AmericaBlog. It is the same information that Alan Colmes (who would have thought it?) posted on his blog.

If what I read is true, then Sarah Palin eloped with her husband on August 29, 1988. She gave birth to her oldest son on April 20, 1989...less than 8 months after she eloped.

Does anybody think this is coincidence?

This is especially telling, considering Palin preaches abstinence as the only form of birth control.

She gave birth, didn't she? Perhaps she formulated her opinion after getting knocked up.

Howabout giving the same weight to Obama's disclaimer about Rev Wright - he sat in that church for TWENTY years and had NO idea Rev Wright was a racist and hate monger? He didn't know what Louis Farrakhan stood for? I want someone a bit more aware in the White House, thank you.

I am not going to use this blog to defend accusations about Obama's relationship with Rev. Wright.

That has been dredged over and over again through the media. I have my own reasons for feeling why this name and reference keep getting passed on.

I think Sean Hannity's blog may have good red meat on Wright.

If you think Sarah Palin is someone more aware that you would like to see in the White house, be my guest. Vote for her.

There are 2 very different platforms out there. Anybody who looks at the platforms and picks McCain over Obama, for reasons other than policy, needs to examine their issues and see what they are really voting about. I have my own thoughts on this, but for the respect of this poster, will keep them to myself.

Nothing I could write or say will make you do change your mind, and I have a better use for this blog space than to even attempt it.

I came upon your site purely by accident. I've read lots of blogs and am amazed at the ignorance and denial of factual material ignored by those who doggedly believe the lies being put out by McCain and Palin. I am susrprised that some would rather have this country continue on as it has been rather than have it prosper for all Americans. I am heartened that I've read more from those who recognize the truth for what it is. Gloria Steinem's Op-Ed piece said it beautifully!

Thank you an-person.

I hope that visiting this site was an affirmation of your progressive worldview.

It is definitely our time, but these next 6 weeks are going to be intense, to say the least.

Economically, I can no longer afford to be a Republican. They continue to give more to the wealthy, which is definitely not Biblical. I am white, a teacher, a mother, and devout Christian who is concerned for our country and our children. I will definitely be supporting Obama and really believe it is dangerous and hypocritical to do otherwise.
